BackPack Blessings is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to fighting childhood hunger in Cobb County since 2011. Our mission is to provide nourishment for students who otherwise would go without food on the weekends by engaging volunteers to share Christ’s love and reach out to the community. Our mission is to provide shelter, food, counseling, vocational training and computer training for men 18 and older with addiction and mental illness so they may live healthy, fulfilled lives with their families. Hemophilia of Georgia exists so that people affected by bleeding disorders live as normally and productively as possible.
We have been providing a safe place to call home for 56 years for men with various intellectual, developmental disabilities and various traumatic brain injuries.
To help underserved learners of all ages develop the digital skills needed for education and career success. Our is commitment to provide digital opportunities for Georgians through digital skills training, device distribution, and broadband access.
The laptops we give away as a part of our Learning Spark Initiative are donated from the community. Those laptops are given to learners after attending our workshop in back packs, so they can carry their new tech wherever they go. Backpacks and tech donations are always welcome. We also serve a sustainability hub in Atlanta for e-waste. Last year we diverted over 350,000 lbs of e-waste from Atlanta landfills. Any used tech that cannot be refurbished can be ethically discarded with us, like an e-drive.
Our mission is to create youth community service experiences, encourage Kindness and promote environmental stewardship. We offer monthly volunteer opportunities for ALL AGES. Our volunteer experiences are used as service-learning opportunities to discuss a range of social and emotional topics including empathy, compassion, kindness, awareness of the needs of others plus the in depth learning one acquires from hands on helping.

Kidz2Leaders (K2L) mission is to break the cycle of generational incarceration by providing stability, opportunity and Christian community to children of inmates. K2L was founded in 1999. Our proven 10-year model of year-round programming includes summer camps, family support, leadership development and job readiness training. We have served over 2,000 children and family members since our inception. Ninety-nine percent of our graduates are living free of incarceration. Every child we keep out of the justice system saves Georgia taxpayers $25-30K per year. We are supported year-round by over 950 volunteers, making us an ideal partner for individuals to help make a difference in the Atlanta community.
K2L continues to expand our services. We especially need volunteers for summer camp, business coaches and companies to host our interns for a 3 week internship in June.
